..Norman . Wellens m.b.i.e.

Joined the firm in 1959 following training in Cardiff. He managed our Chadderton branch, and oversaw the completion of our new premises there. Norman later looked after the day to day running of the New Moston office.
He also founded the Middleton and Heywood Bereavement Support Group in 1989.

Geoffrey Wellens

Came into the business in 1964. His art and architectural skills enabled him to redesign the Chapels in Middleton and the new premises in Chadderton and New Moston. He has always been based at the Middleton Office. Geoff is the co-author of a local history book.

Christopher Wellens M.B.I.E Dip FD

A qualified embalmer, started in 1989, joined a Wigan firm for wider experience and rejoined S. Wellens and Sons in 1996. Chris ensures the company's daily commitments are carried out efficiently.

 

 

 

 

  

Paul Green

Joined the firm as a funeral operative in 1988 and soon found himself promoted to funeral director. Paul is responsible for the Cremated Remains registers and is the company's H.R. manager.
